Prerequisites for Enrollment To receive your certificate of completion and apply for the LCSW-S designation, you must be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in good standing. While you may take this course earlier for professional development, the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council (BHEC) requires you to have held your LCSW license for a minimum of two years before formally adding the Supervisor designation.
